2023 Additional session
Announcement
The 2023 additional session of the Council will take place on 19-20 October 2023, preceded by the cluster of Council Working Groups and Expert Groups from 9 to 20 October.

The Council, composed of 48 ITU Member States, acts as the Union’s governing body in the interval between plenipotentiary conferences. It considers broad telecommunication policy issues and ensures that the Union’s strategy responds to changes in the telecommunication environment.
